Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of brandingnarrative.com and the copywriting services delivered by BrandingNarrative ApS. By placing an order on this site, you agree to these Terms. If you have questions, write to support@brandingnarrative.com before you order.
1. The parties
These Terms are entered into between you (the "Client") and BrandingNarrative ApS, registered in Denmark under CVR 41 88 26 09 with registered offices at Nørresundbyvej 12, 8940 Randers, Denmark (the "Studio", "we", "our"). The Studio is governed by Danish law and operates under Danish tax and bookkeeping rules.
2. Services
The Studio provides editorial and copywriting services, delivered digitally. The specific deliverables, schedule, and price for any engagement are set out in the individual proposal we send you after an order is placed and reviewed. Where there is a conflict between an individual proposal and these Terms, the individual proposal takes precedence.
All work is delivered as digital files (typeset PDFs, working documents, or text files) by email or a shared Google Drive. We do not currently ship physical goods.
3. Orders, review, and acceptance
Placing an order on this site is an offer to purchase the relevant engagement, package, or hourly pack. We reserve the right to review and decline any order before commencing work — for example, if the project lies outside our practice, if there is a conflict of interest, or if the timeline is not feasible. If we decline an order, we will refund any payment in full within five business days.
For orders we accept, we will send a written project plan within one business day of payment. The plan will name the writers assigned, the schedule, the rounds of revision included, and the date the work is due. The engagement is considered accepted by both parties when you confirm the plan in writing.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices on this site are in euros (EUR), exclusive of VAT, which is added at checkout where required by Danish law. Prices for engagements and modules are fixed at the time of purchase. Hourly support packs expire twelve months after purchase.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards Stripe supports. We do not invoice retroactively for engagement work; any work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and approved before it begins.
5. Revisions and scope
Each engagement includes a fixed number of revision rounds, set out in the proposal. A "revision round" is one consolidated set of feedback delivered within five business days of receiving a draft. Feedback delivered piecemeal over weeks counts as multiple rounds. Major changes to scope after kickoff — for example, adding a new page or pivoting the brand voice halfway through — are quoted separately.
6. Intellectual property
On full payment, all rights in the final delivered copy transfer to you, with the following exceptions: we retain the right to reference the work in our portfolio and on this website unless the engagement is under NDA, and we retain ownership of any underlying frameworks, methodologies, or templates used to produce the work (for example, our Editorial Audit nine-axis rubric).
You warrant that any source material you provide us — existing copy, brand documents, customer interview recordings — is yours to share, or has been shared with appropriate consent.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Hourly support packs are refundable for unused hours within fourteen days of purchase. After fourteen days, unused hours remain available for the rest of their twelve-month validity but are not refundable.
Sprint and Series engagements are non-refundable once research has commenced. Before research commences (typically within forty-eight hours of payment), either party may cancel the engagement and receive a full refund. Studio Partner retainers can be cancelled at the end of any month after the six-month minimum, with thirty days’ notice.
For consumers within the European Union, your statutory right to withdraw under the Consumer Rights Directive applies for fourteen days from the date of purchase, except where you have explicitly requested that we begin work within that period and the work has been performed in full.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all information you share with us as confidential by default, whether or not a separate NDA is in place. Members of the Studio who work on your engagement are bound by confidentiality obligations equivalent to those in this clause. We are happy to sign your standard NDA on request.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that: our total liability arising out of or in connection with any single engagement is limited to the fees actually paid to us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of business opportunity.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement immediately on written notice if the other party commits a material breach that is not remedied within fifteen business days of being notified in writing. On termination, you will pay for all work performed up to the date of termination, and we will deliver all work in progress in its current state.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Aarhus, Denmark. Where you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction apply where they would otherwise be displaced.
